Description:Ben's father is a self absorbed prick with no redeeming qualities and no depth at all. She worries they'd cast her aside if they found out she thinks about sex as much as she does-- if they discover she thinks about anything at all. But the more and more I read this book, the more clear it became that it doesn't have characters but caricatures. Pen hides her true self from her friends, her boyfriend of three years, and her crazy religious parents. But I can't get over the horrible secondary characters or the thin plot. Because otherwise readers couldn't figure out when characters were having an argument-- I guess?
